A 15-story headquarters building on the San Francisco
waterfront. 540,000 sf.
As part of Middlebrook + Louies commitment to environmentally-responsible
design, the structural specifications for this building
include the use of a special concrete with a high concentration
of fly ash (a waste by-product of coal combustion). The
environmental savings are two-fold: less fly ash is being
sent to landfills and carbon dioxide emissions are substantially
reduced in the production of high volume fly ash concrete.
