M+L is teamed with the San Francisco office of Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum in the design of this new international airport. The airport's 140,000 m2 passenger terminal will feature a wave-form metal roof structure and column-free arches spanning up to 170 meters. 2 concourses connect to the terminal, providing 26 boarding gates and 30,000 m2 of concession and shopping areas. The airport will also include a pair of parking structures, a mosque, and a central utility plant.

Bechtel is overseeing the design, project management and construction management of this project. Construction is underway and the airport is expected to begin operations by 2009.
